Ayers has written, co-authored, or edited books and articles on supply chain management, including the Handbook of Supply Chain Management (CRC Press, 2000)and Supply Chain Project Management (CRC Press, 2003), and Making Supply Chain Management Work (Auerbach Publications, 2001). Ayers is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
