NIST Announces the 2017 Baldrige Examiner Training Experience

Learn the same methods and techniques used by examiners; network with examiners and Baldrige staff members

(NIST: Gaithersburg, MD) -- The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program is offering (for a fee) a limited number of seats for their 2017 examiner training course through its Baldrige Examiner Training Experience (BETE) program. BETE attendees learn the same methods and techniques used by examiners and network directly with the examiners and Baldrige staff members throughout the training week, without ever having to serve as an examiner.

BETE attendees, like examiners, focus on the Baldrige Framework and Criteria for Performance Excellence, as well as the Baldrige Award process. This training course has been recognized as part of the Baldrige Program’s Top Government Leadership Developer Award in the Leadership 500 competition.

The BETE is a highly interactive training experience that uses the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence to:
• Evaluate an organization’s processes
• Evaluate an organization’s results
• Write actionable feedback that can help any organization improve

This is accomplished as you work in peer groups to evaluate a fictitious organization’s responses to the Baldrige Criteria. This case study approach provides a hands-on, peer-driven learning opportunity that you don’t want to miss.

In 2017, the training is being offered the following weeks at the Baldrige Program’s headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland:
April 25—April 27
May 2—May 4
May 9—May 11

You can choose the week that best fits your schedule, but don’t delay in registering because seats are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The registration deadline is March 3, 2017, for international attendees and March 31, 2017, for U.S. domestic attendees.
