Health Care Forum Reveals Six Sigma Strategies

The second annual "Successfully Implementing Six Sigma in Health Care" conference will be held March 25 and 26 in New Orleans.

Among issues that will be discussed are:

  • Adapting Six Sigma to the health care environment and overcoming cultural and professional differences to other sectors
  • Leading and structuring a Six Sigma organization
  • Managing change and communicating Six Sigma effectively to win over skeptics
  • Successful project selection and sizing
  • Applying Six Sigma with other quality initiatives
  • Practical examples of using Six Sigma in the health care realm


The conference brings together case studies from leading health care professionals, including Greg Stock of Thibodaux Regional Hospital, Jean Cherry of Commonwealth Health Corp., Jeff Burnich of Mount Carmel Health System, Nancy Pratt of Sharp Health System and Susan McGann of Virtua Health System.
