AMETEK TMC Moves European Logistics and Storage

Transition to an AMETEK-owned facility provide better customer support and a faster response time

Published: Monday, May 2, 2022 - 11:59

(AMETEK: Peabody, MA) -- To provide customers in Europe with better support, TMC, an AMETEK business, opened its own warehouse facility in Weiterstadt, Germany. Moving from an external service provider, TMC opened a 250-sq.-meter warehouse at the end of 2021 and added an additional 75 sq. meters in February 2022.

“Our customers in Europe are vital to the success of TMC,” saus Steve Ryan, division vice president of global sales, marketing, and service. “Having our own warehouse ensures that the level of support we provide to our customers and distributors is unsurpassed.”

With a dedicated logistics specialist, TMC Europe can provide better customer support and a faster response time. Having a centrally located warehouse also ensures customers will have an efficient location for the shipment’s final destination.

“By opening an AMETEK-owned warehouse, we’ve been able to dramatically improve our customer support and responsiveness,” says Steffen Roerentrop, sAMETEK’s sales manager in Europe. “By having complete control of our products from the time they leave our factory until they reach our customer, we can ensure a professional process with reduced risk.”
