(MicroRidge Systems: Sunriver, OR) -- MicroRidge Systems, a leading developer and manufacturer of measurement collection solutions for manufacturing companies, has been acquired by Riley Tronson and Andrew (Andy) Duvall. The founders, John Schuldt and Mary Chisholm, are retiring after 40 years at the helm and are proud to entrust the company to the capable hands of these two experienced engineers.

Duvall is a product design engineer with more than 10 years’ experience developing electromechanical systems at Daimler Truck North America and Lam Research. He will take on the role of sales director, using his expertise to lead MicroRidge sales and drive revenue growth.

Tronson has used his mechanical engineering degree for more entrepreneurial endeavors, contributing his skills to startup operations specializing in technology, manufacturing, and sales. He will assume the role of president, working alongside Duvall and the rest of the MicroRidge team to continue developing the company’s innovative solutions.

MicroRidge’s longtime dedicated staff, including production manager Mike Martino, who also handles technical support, and order management specialist Dani Haynes, will remain the same, along with MicroRidge’s skilled production team. Mary and John will be onsite during the transition period to ensure a seamless transfer of ownership. The new owners are excited to continue serving MicroRidge’s valued customers and providing the same exceptional quality, innovation, support, and customer service the company is known for.

“We are thrilled to have acquired MicroRidge Systems and to work alongside its dedicated staff to provide manufacturing companies with world-class measurement collection solutions,” says Tronson.

“Founding MicroRidge has been among the most rewarding and challenging endeavors Mary and I have taken on,” says Schuldt, MicroRidge’s outgoing president. “We are excited to dive into our retirement and hand the business off to Riley and Andy, two capable and energetic engineers.”

Duvall and Tronson are committed to continuing the company’s legacy of excellence in the industry and look forward to driving growth and innovation. MicroRidge Systems has a long history of providing high-quality measurement collection solutions, and the new owners are committed to taking the company to new heights.
