Published: Thursday, January 21, 2016 - 16:21 (APQC: Houston) -– APQC, the benchmarking and best practices authority, introduces its new cloud-based business process tool, MosaiQ. The MosaiQ tool simplifies the adoption and long-term use of process frameworks, specifically APQC’s Process Classification Framework, including working with individuals inside and outside of the business to develop a custom process framework. By creating a common language, MosaiQ enables companies to quickly and easily measure, manage, and learn about their business processes. MosaiQ is an easy-to-use collaborative tool with no software to install or maintain, offering direct access to APQC best-practice content and research. Organizations can quickly drag-and-drop process elements to create custom frameworks, and users can model their organizational structure and map it to their process framework to better understand performance. The MosaiQ tool helps organizations: Executives from more than 20 global organizations currently serve on the MosaiQ Advisory Council, providing insight and strategic direction on the tool’s development. Organizations represented include: DesJardins Financial Group Project Consulting Group Alberta Health Services Hospira Inc. Rockwell Collins Allegient Johnson & Johnson State IT Agency Astra Zeneca Logintrans Sp. Z o.o TD Williamson SA BPM-D Lowe’s Companies Inc. Unicomer Group Capricorn Investments Microsoft Corporation Wipro Technologies Limited Chevron Corporation Moen “APQC members will receive access to the MosaiQ tool as part of their membership,” says John Tesmer, director of Open Standards Benchmarking. “Users will have access to all APQC created benchmarks and the Open Standards Benchmarking database as well as the ability to create or include custom measures.” Content management features include securely uploading process models, policies, diagrams, and other process content directly to MosaiQ. The MosaiQ tool is presently in beta testing with a release date set for March 2016 for APQC members and Summer 2016 for the public. For more information, visit www.apqc.org/mosaiq.
