(MAG Automotive: Sterling Heights, MI) -- MAG Automotive, an FFG company, will host the grand opening of its new North America Technology Center in Sterling Heights, Michigan, on Oct. 17 and 18, 2023. The latest building expansion at the MAG Automotive facility is designed to highlight and demonstrate industry-leading machining solutions available from several companies of the global FFG machine-tool conglomerate, including MAG, SMS, FEELER, LEADWELL, and FFG DMC.

Eighteen machines will be displayed, demonstrating vertical and horizontal milling and vertical and horizontal turning solutions for high-speed, die/mold, heavy-duty, multi-axis, multitasking, and high-volume machining solutions including 2-, 3-, 4-, 4+1-, and full 5-axis processes.

FFG strategic partners in CNC controls, spindles, robotics, cutting tools, tool holders, rotary tables, probing, workholding, bar feeding, mist collection, high-pressure coolant, and equipment finance will also be displaying and presenting various products and value-add machining solutions.

The FFG North America Technology Center will enable distributors, partners, and end users to consult and collaborate with experts, compare different technologies, run test cuts, conduct cycle-time analysis, and see FFG’s machines and technologies firsthand.
