Make sure your mobile QMS has these four features

According to the Verdantix global survey of 382 EHS decision-makers, 57 percent  expect to use mobile apps in 2018 either widely across all their facilities, at multiple facilities, or as a pilot project at one facility. Mobile has become a game changer for modern quality management systems (QMS). AuditComply is noticing a large trend toward mobile applications for QMS platforms. Mobile QMS Gone Wrong

And now for the comic relief...  I recently found myself explaining the concept of carbon paper to a new hire (Oh, that's so cool!) after I had to order new inspection checklists in carbon triplicates. Our Federal oversight agency demanded that even though we had gone paperless several years ago, we still need to retain a signed physical copy at each remote location as well as our main office.  Keep in mind, we had gone paperless at the direct behest of the same Federal agency.  Go figure.
