Features custom pricing, purchase history, and simplified orders and payment

(AMETEK MOCON: Minneapolis) -- AMETEK MOCON, a global leader in precision gas permeation, package testing, and specialty gas measurement, has launched its new web store featuring custom pricing, a purchase history for easy reordering, and a simplified PO and payment process.

The AMETEK MOCON web store allows customers to browse the online catalog and place orders in minutes, simplifying the ordering process for everyone. Customers can also expect more streamlined requests for quotes (RFQs) with an automated process that stores forms and loops approvers directly into the approval process.

“Our new e-commerce store makes placing orders easier and faster. No more phone tag!” says Tiffany Nelson, senior customer service representative at AMETEK MOCON. “When our customers need to order supplies, they can’t always wait to talk to someone to place the order. Our new web store not only lets them order promptly, but also to log in and view pricing so they can be sure their PO is accurate.

“Now, if a customer remembers in the middle of the night that they needed a new part, they can log into their account, place the order, and go back to sleep.”

The launch of a web store is just one example of AMETEK MOCON’s commitment to its customers and their needs.

“Our customers not only expect the best out of our instruments, but also the customer experience,” says Wade Sand, AMETEK MOCON senior U.S. sales manager. “Creating a robust catalog of instruments, consumables, spare parts, and services available in our e-commerce store allows customers to find pricing and place orders for those items immediately. We want to provide the best customer experience we can, and that includes an easy purchasing process.”

At launch, the AMETEK MOCON web store already features more than 200 products, including parts, software options, and AMECare service offerings. The catalog spans multiple brands, including products like MOCON permeation analyzer accessory cartridges, Dansensor package testing instruments, and piD-TECH photoionization sensors. The web store is currently available to U.S. and German customers, and will soon be expanded to include other regions.

AMETEK MOCON is committed to serving its customers and customizing solutions to best support their businesses. The launch of an easy-to-use e-commerce site makes part ordering accessible for all customers and ensures that instruments are operating at peak performance, with downtime dramatically reduced.
