Verisurf Strengthens Metrology Reseller Channel Program

Scott Knoche appointed to new position

Published: Tuesday, April 23, 2019 - 20:06

(Verisurf Software Inc.: Anaheim, CA) -- Verisurf Software has announced that Scott Knoche has been appointed as reseller channel sales manager for the United States and Canada. In this new position, Knoche will lead efforts to support Verisurf resellers with a multifaceted metrology sales and marketing support program. The effort is aimed at helping authorized dealers be successful in identifying customers, developing needs assessments, and delivering comprehensive metrology solutions in support of today’s advanced manufacturing requirements.

“Scott has been a part of sales and marketing at Verisurf for the past 16 years, most recently serving as north central regional sales manager, and brings a wealth of experience to this new position,” says Ernie Husted, president and CEO of Verisurf. “His reputation precedes him with resellers and customers alike, and we look forward to his contributions to this important channel management responsibility.”

Regional managers, sales and applications engineers, and headquarters staff will continue to provide resellers with sales and administrative support along with added program support, under Knoche’s direction.

“We are taking a program approach to dealer success, designed to help principals and their sales teams effectively recognize opportunities, provide consultation, and make recommendations on automated quality inspection and reporting, scanning and reverse engineering, and tool building,” Knoche says.

The five-point reseller success program provides critical support and education for each of the metrology applications, in the following areas:
• Training
• Sales and marketing materials
• Customer demonstration
• Online dealer portal
• Technical support

Resellers recommend and sell Verisurf software with confidence because of its compatibility and flexibility to support today’s advanced manufacturing requirements. Verisurf is built on a CAD platform and supports all popular CAD file formats, providing intelligent model-based inspection, measurement, and reverse engineering. The software interfaces with and drives virtually all new and legacy brands and models of digital measuring devices, including computer-numeric controlled (CNC) coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), portable CMMs, laser trackers, and 3D scanners. This universal compatibility allows customers to use Verisurf software as a single inspection and measurement platform across their entire manufacturing enterprise, reducing software training and maintenance costs while improving quality and productivity.
