CMSC 2015

You are cordially invited to join the Coordinate Metrology Society at CMSC 2015, July 20th through 24th in beautiful and balmy Hollywood, Florida.

The CMSC lets attendees get close up and personal with today’s best 3D measurement hardware, software, and peripherals. Industry professionals in aerospace, automotive, satellites, optics, and more always look forward to the large-volume, close-tolerance test and measurement solutions featured at CMSC.

The exhibit hall features leading providers of equipment such as:

CMMs

Articulated arms

Structured light scanners

Laser trackers

Photogrammetry solutions

And much more

The CMSC is the place for professional development within the field. Attendees can see more than 20 cutting-edge white paper presentations demonstrating the state-of-the-art in portable coordinate metrology. They can also sit in on proctored Level 1 and Level 2 personnel certification exams.

In 2015 the CMSC is bringing back a new and expanded Measurement Zone, where attendees can learn hands-on fundamentals from some of the best metrologists in the world. The Measurement Zone competitions also allow attendees to pit themselves against their peers to see how their skills really stack up.

The Minitab Assistant

You don't have to be a statistics expert to get the insight you need from your data. Minitab's Assistant walks you through every step of your analysis and even helps you interpret your results.

4.5.4 SF CMM from Hexagon Metrology

The 4.5.4 SF is a rugged CMM that is ideal for machine shops and manufacturing cells. It features advanced thermal compensation, covered ways, built-in vibration resistance, a shop-hardened design, and optional analog contact scanning. Its most notable feature is its flexibility. The 4.5.4 SF uses standard 110/220 volt outlets with no need for shop air. Its compact footprint and roll-around stand, specifically designed to fit through a standard door, lets you easily move the SF series anywhere in the shop where precise dimensional inspection is required.

FARO Edge ScanArm HD

The FARO Edge ScanArm HD is FARO's fastest 3D Laser Scanner. The new system is nearly 4 times faster than previous models and features an extra wide scan stripe, an increased frame rate, more points/line, and a far greater depth of field – the result is a capture rate of up to 560,000 points per second. This rapid scanning speed enables users to significantly reduce required measurement time. Learn more: http://faroscanarmhd.com/eng/
